Local sources in Syria report a deadly attack in the outskirts of Latakia, northwestern Syria, leaving several dead.
According to webangah News Agency, Syrian local sources confirmed that the village of Jouzet al-Maa in the Mashqita area near Latakia witnessed a fatal attack, resulting in the deaths of at least seven civilians.
The victims included one woman and one child.
No further details have been released regarding the perpetrators or motives behind the attack.
The incident occurs amid ongoing sporadic security tensions and civilian casualties in western Syria following last yearS rise of the al-Jolani regime and the fall of Bashar al-Assad.
