UK Allocates £1.5 Billion for Weapons Production

According to ⁤ webangah News Agency, citing ​teh Guardian newspaper, UK Defense Secretary John Healey ⁢stated that the London government ⁤plans ⁢to allocate £1.5 billion⁢ to build ⁢six new munitions and energy production ⁢facilities.

The Defense Minister emphasized this ‌investment is ⁣part of a broader government program to ⁢establish permanent weapons⁢ production lines.

He further stressed: “We are strengthening our industrial base to enhance the​ security and power of the‍ British monarchy while maintaining deterrence against ‌adversaries.”

Referencing russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the UK Defense Secretary added: “The lessons‌ from ​Putin’s aggression​ demonstrate that military power stems solely from defense industrial capacity.”
