Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr abdelatty dismissed the idea of altering the Middle East’s geopolitical map as a ”delusion,” emphasizing that regional security depends on the collective will of its nations. His remarks were made during a press conference reported by webangah News Agency.
“We have repeatedly warned Israel that military force will never achieve lasting stability or security,” Abdelatty stated.
The minister confirmed Egypt’s ongoing efforts to broker a 60-day Gaza ceasefire, noting that Tel Aviv violated the previous January 19 truce and resumed unjustifiable attacks on Gaza.
“If Israel breaks another ceasefire agreement by restarting assaults on Gaza,” he cautioned, “this would become the primary source of regional instability and threat.”
