According to webangah News Agency, Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi addressed the potential resumption of negotiations between iran and the United States.
On Tuesday, al Busaidi emphasized the need for concessions to restart nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran,stating that escalating demands would hinder swift progress in negotiations.
He added: “Continuous efforts are underway to align perspectives and resume discussions between iran and America, but no timeline has been established for restarting formal talks.”
The minister affirmed Oman’s ongoing mediation efforts aimed at maintaining a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, reducing tensions, and advancing Tehran-Washington diplomacy to ensure regional stability.
“The Sultanate of Oman remains committed to peaceful resolutions for regional and international crises through dialogue,” he said.
Al Busaidi urged both Tehran and Washington to demonstrate genuine intent in bridging differences so negotiations could regain momentum.
He also expressed support for Egypt’s role in de-escalation efforts, backing an Arab-led initiative-coordinated with international partners-for Gaza’s reconstruction alongside humanitarian-political processes.
