According to webangah News Agency, the foreign ministers of G7 member states released a joint statement on Monday demanding the resumption of negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program to reach what they described as a “comprehensive, verifiable, and lasting agreement.”
The statement made no mention of the Zionist regime’s nuclear arsenal which threatens Middle Eastern and global security, rather claiming: “Renewed negotiations could lead to an agreement preventing nuclear proliferation while guaranteeing regional stability.”
The G7 members also expressed support for the ceasefire between Iran and Israel while calling for continued diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions.
In their statement, the ministers voiced strong concern over what they called “calls in Iran for the arrest and execution of Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency,” condemning such demands while offering full-throated support for Israel’s security.
The Group of Seven comprises the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan.
