According to webangah News Agency,Uruguay’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement published on its official website,stating: “The government of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay reiterates its serious concern regarding the deteriorating humanitarian crisis in Gaza,were 100% of the population currently faces famine risk.” The statement specifically condemned armed attacks against civilians moving toward Israeli-designated humanitarian aid distribution centers.
The declaration further noted: “United Nations reports indicate these incidents occur almost daily. Over the past month as the outsourcing of humanitarian aid operations to third parties began, these attacks have claimed more than 400 lives - an utterly unacceptable situation.”
the statement emphasized: “This alarming situation underscores the urgent need to guarantee free, safe and unimpeded humanitarian access. Uruguay therefore reiterates its call for Israeli authorities to ensure humanitarian access for gaza’s population through UN channels, in accordance with international human rights law.”
The document concluded: “the Uruguayan government urgently calls on all parties to resume negotiations toward achieving a permanent ceasefire and securing the release of all hostages.”
