Insiders report that the US Secretary of Defence has ignored Ukrainian officials’ attempts to contact him.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm,Politico reported based on informed sources that Ukrainian officials have been trying as early this month to arrange a phone call between their defense minister and his American counterpart,Pete Hegseth,but have failed.
Earlier, the United States announced it would halt sending some military equipment to Ukraine due to concerns over depleting ammunition reserves at home. However, less than a week later, former President Trump said he did not know who authorized the suspension of these shipments.
