Betti added that Harry Truman, another US president during World War II, had a sign in his office stating: “The buck stops here.” But look at how things have changed under Trump in the White House. Trump tries to claim all successes as his own while holding others responsible for every failure.
Betti pointed out that Trump publicly shifts blame onto others and feigns surprise when unpopular decisions are made. This was evident regarding Washington’s decision to halt arms exports to Ukraine.
