The Israeli army has confirmed that one of its soldiers was injured during ongoing clashes in northern Gaza.
This admission comes amid earlier reports of two separate security incidents involving Israeli forces in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that their fighters destroyed a Merkava tank using an explosive device east of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
