According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Qatar’s official news agency reported that the government is reviewing efforts to evaluate damages inflicted on the property of Qatari citizens and residents caused by intercepting Iranian missiles during an attack on the U.S. Al Udeid base.
The media source adds that this initiative began under the directive of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, aiming at compensating these losses. An unusual session of Qatar’s Civil Defense Council was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh khalifa bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Thani, involving internal security commanders and relevant stakeholders.
The statement further notes that this meeting focused on immediate measures to assess harm caused by air defense systems while intercepting Iranian missiles and implementing rapid executive steps for damage compensation arising from these operations.
