According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Spanish actor and Oscar winner Javier Bardem released a video statement declaring: “The issue of Palestine is notable. Right now, we are celebrating films. Many people here are celebrating films; but we cannot forget what is truly happening in the world.”
Bardem continued: “We are celebrating fictional stories, but the real world is in Gaza-where thousands of children are dying from hunger. This is a genocide happening before our eyes, and we see it with crystal-clear clarity.”
He emphasized: “American support must stop. Funding bombs that kill thousands of children must end. Western European countries also need to take practical steps and sever ties with Israel. Enough talk-take action.”
