Four killed and 500 arrested amid clashes between protesters and police over fuel price hike in Angola.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, protests in Angola have resulted in multiple casualties and arrests.
The unrest began after the government raised diesel prices by 33 percent.
So far, four people have died, and 500 others have been detained during the demonstrations.
Russia Today reported that the fuel-related protests started with taxi strikes following the diesel price surge. Thousands blocked roads and clashed with police forces.
