According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and RIA Novosti, Dmitry Medvedev, former President and Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, commented on statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump. Medvedev said: “if the words of a former president of Russia provoke such an agitated reaction from the U.S. president, it means that Russia is right about everything and we will continue on our path.”
Earlier today, Donald Trump posted a message on his social media platform Truth Social targeting Medvedev. He stated: “Russia and the United States have almost no trade with each other. let’s keep it that way. Also,tell Medvedev,the failed former Russian president who still thinks he is in charge,to watch his language.”
This follows recent remarks from Medvedev warning the U.S.: Donald Trump, who threatens Moscow and speaks about shortening the timeframe for resolving the Ukraine crisis, must not forget that any final warning could be considered a step toward war with the United States.
