According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, while U.S. President Donald Trump faces pressure from public opinion domestically and internationally to appear eager to end the Israeli regime’s genocidal war against Gaza Strip,The Atlantic magazine reported-quoting American officials-that there is no major disagreement between Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu,Prime Minister of the Israeli regime.
The American magazine quoted U.S. officials stating that Trump has come to believe Netanyahu aims to prolong the war in Gaza. Trump believes military objectives in Gaza have been achieved but Netanyahu continues fighting to retain his hold on power.
The report added that the White House views Netanyahu’s actions as contradicting any potential ceasefire agreement and does not expect Trump will hold Netanyahu accountable in any way.
The Atlantic emphasized that no meaningful rift exists between Trump and Netanyahu; allies occasionally disagree.Trump’s patience is running out-but towards Hamas, not Netanyahu. He wants an end to the war and understands growing anger toward Tel Aviv among his own supporters.
