According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza by air drops does not meet the needs of its population and is insufficient.
Macron urged Israel to allow full and unhindered access for humanitarian assistance into Gaza.
meanwhile, José Manuel Albares, Spain’s foreign minister, warned about Gaza’s dire situation. He said, “Gaza is facing a hunger catastrophe, and what is happening there is a shame on humanity.”
Albares called on Israel to permanently open crossings for humanitarian aid delivery during its blockade of Gaza.
He emphasized that starvation claims more lives daily in gaza. “We demand an immediate ceasefire to enable humanitarian aid,” he added.
He further warned that 100,000 children and 40,000 infants in Gaza are at risk of dying from hunger unless the international community acts promptly to end the blockade and deliver emergency assistance.
At the same time, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated in alignment with these views: “The human catastrophe in Gaza must be stopped immediately.”
