Lith al-Balaous, a prominent Syrian Druze leader, stated: “We stand firm with dialog and the law against all separatist or provocative calls that threaten Syria’s unity,” according too webangah News agency, citing Al Jazeera and Mehr News Agency.
he added, “We support the gradual and purposeful integration of Suweida province’s armed forces into the syrian ministry of Defense.”
Al-Balaous emphasized that regulating weapon possession is essential to achieving stability in Suweida.
In recent weeks, Suweida province has witnessed deadly clashes between Druze groups on one side and tribal factions and elements linked to the terrorist Jolani regime on the other.
These internal conflicts coincided with brutal attacks by the Israeli regime on Syria, justified under claims of protecting the Druze community.
