India announced that Pakistan violated the ceasefire by firing for 10 to 15 minutes along the Line of Control in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and India Today, India declared on Tuesday that Pakistan breached the cross-border ceasefire and resorted to unwarranted firing.
Delhi stated that the Indian Army retaliated in response; though, firing has now ceased.
India Today added that a high alert remains along the Line of Control amid intelligence suggesting possible attempts by terrorists to infiltrate.
The report noted that Pakistan fired without provocation for 10 to 15 minutes along the Line of Control in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
So far, islamabad has not issued any statement regarding this incident.
