Kremlin: Russia Has Lifted All Restrictions on Missile Deployment

Teh Kremlin spokesperson⁢ states that Russia‌ no ​longer imposes any restrictions on the‍ deployment of intermediate- and short-range⁣ ground-based missiles.

Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin ‍spokesperson, referring to Russia’s‌ decision to lift restrictions ​on deploying intermediate- ‌and ‍short-range missiles, emphasized that Moscow reserves the right to take ⁢any necessary measures regarding this issue, according to the English‌ section of webangah ​News ‍agency, quoting Mehr ⁣News Agency citing TASS.

Peskov stated: “Russia no longer has any limitations in this regard and does not consider⁤ itself bound by ⁢any (treaty). Russia reserves the right to take⁤ appropriate actions on this ‍matter if needed.”

yesterday, the Russian foreign Ministry ​issued a statement declaring⁢ that “Western ⁢actions in⁤ deploying intermediate-range missiles pose a direct threat to Russian security. Western measures are increasing missile capabilities near Russia’s borders,creating a direct and strategic threat to Russia’s security.”

the ministry added: “Moscow no longer considers itself obligated to observe self-imposed limits on deploying intermediate- and short-range ground-based missiles. The conditions for maintaining unilateral suspension of ‍these missile⁤ deployments have ⁤ceased.”
