According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency from Russia Al-Youm, Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel’s Minister of Internal Security, publicly warned Eyal zamir, the regime’s Chief of Staff. Ben Gvir insisted that Zamir must demonstrate full allegiance to the political decisions made by Netanyahu’s cabinet.
He added that Zamir should implement any decision made by the cabinet-even a full occupation of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the Hebrew website Walla has highlighted rising tensions between Israel’s military and political circles.
Sources close to Netanyahu revealed that he has presented Zamir with a resignation option, stating that if Zamir opposes the plan for complete occupation of Gaza, he may resign.
Shortly before this message,Israel’s military announced it would lift the state of emergency imposed since Operation Al-Aqsa Storm began.
