US, France, and UK Renew Allegations Against Iran’s Nuclear Program

U.S.⁣ Secretary of State ⁣announced that France and the‍ United Kingdom reiterated their⁢ outdated allegations against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program in separate talks.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, the⁤ U.S. State Department released a statement early Tuesday confirming that Secretary of State⁢ Marco Rubio, in separate calls​ with his French and British counterparts, reaffirmed the joint commitment of ​Washington, Paris, and ‍London ‌to ⁣prevent⁣ what has been‌ alleged as Tehran’s pursuit of nuclear ‌weapons.

The statement from the U.S.⁢ State Department reads:​ “Rubio and his ​European counterparts agree on the necessity to prevent⁤ Iran from developing or acquiring nuclear ​weapons.”

The report adds that regional issues-including a ceasefire in Gaza and developments‌ in the​ Strip, efforts to halt conflicts in Sudan,‍ and ending the ⁢war in Ukraine-were also key topics discussed by Rubio‌ with his ⁣French and British counterparts.
