According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, Yair Netanyahu, son of Benjamin Netanyahu, sparked controversy once again with a social media post. This time,he targeted Eyal Zamir,Chief of Staff of the Israeli military.
yair Netanyahu accused Zamir of military insubordination in the occupied territories as he opposes Netanyahu’s plan for a full occupation of the Gaza Strip due to its consequences.
Prior to Yair’s post, a military analyst from Yedioth Ahronoth had written that if Netanyahu intends to fully occupy Gaza, he must clarify the costs involved as the army opposes such an action.
In response to this analysis, Yair wrote: “We know who taught you to publish such a post; this is insubordination and an attempt at a military coup similar to what happened in the Central American banana republic.”
