Atlantic: Trump Has Grown Disillusioned with the End of the Russia-Ukraine War

An American magazine reported, citing U.S. officials, that the⁣ ongoing war between Russia⁣ and Ukraine has deeply frustrated Donald Trump.

The English section of​ webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency, reported that The Atlantic magazine cited U.S. officials⁤ saying the ⁢continuation​ of the conflict between ‌Russia and ukraine has been a major disappointment for former President Donald Trump.

The magazine added that Trump believed his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin would quickly end the conflict in ⁣Ukraine.

The Atlantic also wrote that ⁣Putin ⁤exploited the⁣ respect Trump had for him, openly ‌challenged him, and cornered⁤ him by ignoring his calls for​ a ceasefire.

According to ⁢The Atlantic,Trump is still considering direct sanctions ​against Putin.

Aide to the Russian president announced today​ that Putin⁤ and Trump are scheduled to meet next week.

Yuri Ushakov said this meeting date was set as part of initial arrangements but noted ​it remains tough to ⁣finalize exact timing.⁣ Both sides⁣ are working on ⁣coordinating it.
