In a decree, Imam Khamenei has appointed Dr. Ali Larijani to be his representative in the Supreme National Security Council.
The full text of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s decree is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
In view of the appointment of Dr. Ahmadian to an important executive position in the government, I hereby appoint Dr. Ali Larijani to be the Representative of the Leader in the Supreme National Security Council in accordance with Article 176 of the Constitution. I am grateful for Mr. Ahmadian’s presence and successful efforts in this position for the past several years.
I ask Almighty God to grant success to everyone.
