According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr news agency and Sputnik, Yuri Ushakov confirmed that next week is being considered for a possible meeting between Russian president Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Ushakov added that while next week is tentatively scheduled for the encounter based on preliminary instructions, it remains arduous to determine an exact timeframe. both sides are actively working on organizing the details.
Al Jazeera also reported via Ushakov that the venue for the putin-Trump meeting has been selected and will be announced soon.
The Russian vice president further stated that Moscow has not yet responded to Steve Witkoff’s proposal-United States envoy for Middle Eastern affairs-for a trilateral summit involving Putin,Trump,and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Ushakov noted that Russia will keep its friends and partners informed of the results following any meetings between Witkoff and Putin.
