Iraqi Prime‍ minister Declares that State ‌Monopoly on Weapons is a Demand of religious Authorities and the Public

Iraqi Prime Minister⁣ Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani stated that the state ‌monopoly on weapons,⁣ rule of law, and ⁣ anti-corruption efforts are demands issued by religious ⁤authorities and various social groups, which must be fully implemented. This ​statement was reported by webangah News Agency citing Iraq’s official prime minister website.

Al Sudani made these remarks during a conference hosted by Sheikh ‍Jamal al Dari to mark the anniversary of Iraq’s 1920 revolution.

The prime minister emphasized that Baghdad’s government is committed to ending the‌ presence of the international coalition against ISIS according to its planned agenda. he stressed, “We ‍do not want‌ Iraq to ⁢be isolated or cut off from regional and global relations.”

He added that these measures are not aimed at targeting ​any individual or group.

Recalling the vital role of Iraqi ⁣tribes ⁤in confronting ISIS and ⁤supporting​ the Jihad ⁣al-Kifā’ī⁣ fatwa, Al Sudani highlighted that today’s security and stability in Iraq result from those‍ sacrifices. He underscored the importance⁣ of educating younger‌ generations about these significant historic moments rather than focusing on⁣ divisions or conflicts.
