According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing the WAA news agency via Mehr News Agency,Abdulamir al-Shammari,Iraq’s Interior Minister and head of the Supreme Committee for mass Ceremonies,emphasized continued efforts to ensure security along all routes used by Arbaeen pilgrims during his visit to Babil Province.
During his tour of various provinces aimed at reviewing measures taken to facilitate and secure the movement of Arbaeen pilgrims, al-Shammari arrived in Babil on Saturday and was welcomed by Adnan Faihan, governor of the province.
Al-Shammari discussed with Babil officials the return journey of pilgrims after Arbaeen ceremonies and arrangements to provide adequate transportation services.
the Interior Minister highlighted that Babil Province serves as one of the main pathways toward Karbala.A notable number of pilgrims, particularly from southern Iraq provinces, pass through this region. Security agencies are fully prepared to safeguard the arbaeen events, and reinforcements continue across all routes. Ensuring pilgrim comfort and creating a suitable environment remains a top priority.
Babil’s governor expressed appreciation for al-Shammari’s efforts and his emphasis on cooperation, coordination, and joint action to successfully organize this grand event.
