According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Anadolu Agency via Mehr News Agency,five United Nations Security Council member states issued a joint statement on Sunday condemning Israel’s decision to expand it’s military operations in Gaza. The plan reflects a clear breach of international humanitarian law.
the joint statement from these European members directed at the Israeli occupiers stated: “We urge Israel to immediately halt its plans to expand military operations and refrain from implementing them. Any attempt by Israel to annex or enlarge settlements is illegal.”
The communiqué further warned that escalating operations in Gaza endangers all civilians and prisoners held by Hamas.
