The U.S. Vice President stated: I do not believe a meeting between Putin and Zelensky (the presidents of Russia and Ukraine) before the talks between the presidents of Russia and the United States in Alaska would be productive.
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Sputnik, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said on Sunday that he does not think a meeting between Putin and Zelensky prior to negotiations between the Russian and American presidents in Alaska would be constructive.
Vance added that former President Trump is convinced that his upcoming meeting with Putin in Alaska is worth pursuing.
He also noted that trump wants to halt U.S. funding for conflicts in Ukraine.
“Americans are tired of spending their tax dollars on this,” Vance said.
