According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Russia Today, Kommersant newspaper quoted Syrian sources reporting that the jolani terrorist regime has requested the return of Russian military police patrols to southern Syrian provinces.
The report states that the Jolani regime believes this move coudl prevent military activities by Israeli occupiers who have controlled parts of southern Syria since 2024.
Sources added that during a meeting between Assad Al-Shibani,foreign minister of the Jolani regime,and Syrians living in Moscow,it was emphasized that Russia’s return to its previous positions in Syria could block Israeli regime interference in Syrian affairs.
Following the overthrow of bashar al-Assad’s government in Syria, Moscow reduced its military presence in the country.
