according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Doha. they reviewed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and the situation in Syria.
The ministry’s report stated that bin Abdulrahman emphasized the urgent need to intensify international efforts to end the Israeli regime’s “brutal” war against Gaza.
Anadolu Agency previously reported that Turkish foreign Minister Hakan Fidan would visit Qatar for a two-day trip. According to Anadolu,Fidan is scheduled to stay in Qatar on August 13 and 14 (today and tomorrow).
informed sources said Fidan’s meetings are expected to focus on strengthening growing strategic cooperation between Ankara and Doha across all fields while exploring new avenues for collaboration moving forward.
The talks will also lay groundwork for the 11th session of the Supreme Strategic Commitee between Turkey and Qatar,planned to be held this year under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha.
Anadolu noted that regional issues, especially developments concerning Gaza and Syria, will be central topics during Fidan’s discussions.
