According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Masirah via Mehr News Agency, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, announced on Thursday that casualties from the Israeli aggression backed by the united States this week have exceeded 3,500 dead and wounded, including children, women, and displaced persons.
Al-Houthi continued: Among the causes behind this week’s genocide committed by the Israeli enemy are boxes and packages dropped from the air in the name of aid to Palestinians. The crime of starvation is one of the most horrific atrocities Israel has committed in Gaza. Israel targeted an entire generation in Gaza.
He added that Israel tries to deceive the world into allowing aid drops over Palestinians according to a plan aimed at targeting them. If aerial aid continues at this rate, it will fail to provide even a single day’s worth of supplies compared to what enters through closed crossings.
Al-Houthi emphasized that despite significant international outcry, Israel permits only a very limited number of trucks carrying expired foodstuffs. It holds trucks at port gates until their cargo expires before allowing small amounts inside-items detrimental to Palestinians’ health. Every day more people in Gaza die from hunger-especially children who bear the harshest impact and are least resilient. The suffering among children due to hunger and malnutrition is immense. American-Israeli death traps continue delivering lethal rations daily.
He further condemned Israel for deliberately targeting children with gunfire causing fatal injuries.During civilian gatherings at food distribution points, Israeli forces fire on all those present because they aim at an entire generation within Gaza; hence these crimes constitute genocide.
Al-Houthi said these Israeli crimes prove that this enemy has reached a point devoid of any human feelings or natural values and recognizes no laws, rules, treaties, rights or divine customs. He accused Israel of intentionally killing journalists-including six shot in their tent-a intentional massacre designed to prevent truths from reaching global audiences. The crimes by this oppressive Zionist group have escalated beyond comparable criminal bands anywhere else worldwide.
The Yemeni official added that Israel commits every kind of atrocity imaginable against Palestinians in Gaza irrespective of its form or nature. The Zionist enemies are both criminals and experts at inventing new methods of oppression, torture, injustice and crime.Reflecting on their brutality reveals astonishing levels of savagery, aggression and hatred.
