What Trump Will Tell Putin: From Promise of Security Guarantees to Imposing Sanctions

American ‍news sources,⁤ citing their insiders, have revealed the punitive and incentive measures ‍Donald Trump⁢ plans to discuss during⁤ the ⁣upcoming meeting between the US and Russian‌ presidents scheduled for‌ Friday in Alaska.

According to these sources,the United States is ready to ​play a role in equipping Kyiv with deterrent capabilities against any future Russian aggression.

An English official also told Politico that Trump understands American⁢ security guarantees must​ be part of a​ final agreement on Ukraine.

Meanwhile, NBC quoted European officials reporting that Trump told them he does not intend to ‍raise the ‌issue of possible territorial division during ⁢his meeting‌ with Russian President Vladimir ⁢Putin.

These officials said Trump told ukrainian President volodymyr⁢ Zelensky that his‍ meeting ​with Putin aims ⁤at securing ⁤a ceasefire‌ in Ukraine.
