U.S. President identified the primary focus of his meeting with his Russian counterpart as exploring the possibility of a ceasefire in the Ukraine conflict.
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, U.S. President Donald Trump described his upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin as an opportunity to assess current conditions.
He stated that his top priority at the Alaska summit is to discuss the potential for a ceasefire in the Ukraine war.
Trump emphasized, “It is indeed not my duty to make a deal with Putin, but I believe this meeting could pave the way for peace.”
The U.S. President added that his talks with Putin could lead to another significant summit involving both leaders and ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with some European leaders possibly invited as well.
