According too the English section of webangah News Agency,citing mehr News Agency and Al Arabiya,Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he hopes the Alaska summit will open a genuine path toward achieving just peace.
zelensky emphasized that the time has come to end the war and stressed that it is Russia’s duty to take the necessary actions.
He stated, “We are counting on the United states and remain ready, as before, to provide the highest level of constructive cooperation.”
The president added that Ukraine has decided today to send more troops to eastern Ukraine and Donetsk.
“now is the time for an end to this conflict. Russia must take decisive steps, and we rely on America,” he said.
This statement came ahead of U.S. President Donald Trump’s meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
