According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reuters reported that Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, echoed Russia’s alarmist stance by claiming Moscow has no intention of ending its war in Ukraine anytime soon.
Kallas emphasized the importance of former President Trump’s determination to secure a peace agreement for the Ukraine conflict. She said Putin continues to delay negotiations in hopes of escaping accountability.
She added, “Putin left Alaska without any commitments. Despite delegations meeting, Russia launched new attacks against Ukraine. Ukraine needs strong, reliable, and long-term security guarantees.”
This comes after The Guardian previously reported on the meeting between U.S. and Russian presidents in Alaska aimed at ending Russia’s war on Ukraine.It noted that Ukrainian users and activists widely criticized and mocked President Biden online for his conduct during Putin’s official reception.
