The english section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency, reported on Saturday that the American newspaper The New York Times announced European leaders have been invited to participate in a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump at the White house on Monday.
The newspaper, quoting unidentified officials, stated that European heads of state are expected to attend the August 18 meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump at the White House.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said he would meet with Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday afternoon at the White House to discuss a potential agreement aimed at ending the war between Moscow and Kyiv.
Trump posted on his social media platform truth Social that his recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska “went very well” and included a late-night call with Zelensky and other European leaders, including NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
While Trump did not provide details about any agreement, he added that Zelensky would join him in the Oval office Monday afternoon to discuss this proposal further.
