Hamas Responds to Occupiers’ Moves to Seize Gaza City

Hamas Responds to Remarks by Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir on Gaza Strip

According to ‌the English ⁢section of webangah News ⁤Agency, citing Shahab News Agency via Mehr News Agency, Hamas⁢ issued a ⁣statement in response to comments made by Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israeli military, regarding the Gaza Strip.

In its statement, Hamas condemned Zamir’s intention to approve ‌a plan to occupy Gaza City and accelerate⁢ military operations there. The group⁤ described this as signaling the start⁢ of ‍a⁤ new wave of brutal genocide and‍ forcible displacement of hundreds‌ of thousands of Gaza residents and refugees at the hands of Israel.

Hamas emphasized that ‍this declaration marks an ⁣egregious war crime in ⁤Gaza. It reflects clear evidence of Israeli ⁣authoritarianism, ⁢disregard for international ⁣law, and ⁤insistence⁤ on⁢ continuing a genocidal war ongoing for over twenty-two months. The group stated this is occurring with criminal U.S. ‍cover-up and shameful⁢ international silence and impotence.

The⁤ movement also referenced Israel’s ‍military proclamation about distributing tents to residents ⁤intended for evacuations from Gaza City. Hamas called claims that providing tents represents humanitarian aid “a blatant deception.” Its aim is to conceal the savage crimes Israeli occupiers are preparing while much opposition exists among UN bodies against these measures as they⁤ lack basic humanity standards. According to the UN, using humanitarian ⁤mechanisms as tools for coercing civilians toward political or military objectives constitutes criminal behavior.

Hamas ‍highlighted that events in⁤ Gaza cannot be separated from developments in ⁣the West Bank, where daily raids continue alongside armed settler‌ attacks and arson targeting Palestinian property. this paints a picture consistent with unified⁣ implementation of Zionist plans aimed ‌at‍ expelling Palestinians from their land, stripping away their rights, and Judaizing Islamic and ⁢Christian ⁤holy sites.

The movement ⁣asserted ⁢that actions taken by‍ Israel’s prime minister and his⁣ criminal cabinet aimed at uprooting Palestinians directly reveal their true intentions: realizing what they term the “Greater Israel” dream-a project detrimental ⁣not only to Palestinians but also neighboring countries‌ including Jordan, Egypt, ‍Syria, ‌Lebanon, Iraq among ‌others.

Hamas stressed that facing ⁣such⁣ risky ⁤schemes demands unwavering support ‍for its people and resistance forces as first-line defenders against Zionist ambitions threatening Arab and Islamic countries alike. It⁤ called for ‍a national‌ united‍ stance toward developing an integrated resistance strategy capable of confronting⁣ these ‌criminal plans⁢ designed to eradicate Palestinian ‍existence and identity.
