According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Masirah, the hebrew-language newspaper Calcalist acknowledged that train operations were partially running yesterday in the occupied territories. Train stations experienced severe overcrowding due to persistent disruptions in electrical infrastructure along the lines.
The report adds that these disruptions are expected to continue for more than a week.
The Deputy Director-General of Israeli Railways declined to comment on the costs incurred consequently of these disruptions.
Yesterday, Israeli Railways announced that tens of millions of shekels in damages were caused by a freight train colliding with regional power lines south of Tel Aviv.
