According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and TASS, French President Emmanuel Macron said efforts led by his American counterpart Donald Trump and European leaders coudl soon arrange an in-person meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Macron stated: “After our initial meeting, a phone call took place between Putin and Trump. It was agreed that, as a first step, an effort would be made to establish a bilateral contact between Zelensky and Putin at a location to be determined within hours.”
He added: “Following that, a trilateral meeting involving Putin, trump, and Zelensky is planned.”
Yesterday, zelensky joined leaders from several European countries along with NATO’s Secretary General and the President of the European Commission at the White House as guests of Trump.This gathering followed Trump’s meeting with Putin in Alaska aimed at exploring options to resolve the Ukraine conflict.
