Deadly Accident in Afghanistan Claims at Least 71 Lives

At least 71 people died in a deadly traffic accident in Herat province, Afghanistan.

A ​fatal collision in Herat province,Afghanistan,has resulted in the deaths of 71 ‍individuals,according⁤ to⁣ the English section of ⁢ webangah News agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency.

Ahmedullah Muttaqi, ‌spokesperson for ​the Taliban ‌in Herat, stated that a‌ bus traveling from Kabul caught fire after colliding with a ⁢truck⁤ and ​a motorcycle. among⁤ the victims were 17‌ children.

The Herat police reported that the​ crash was caused by excessive speed and driver negligence on the part of the ⁢bus operator.
