According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestinian quds news agency, Israel has launched heavy air attacks since early Tuesday morning on Jabalya al-Balad in northern Gaza.
The report states that these airstrikes have directly targeted homes, causing casualties. Israeli forces are reportedly preventing medics and ambulances from reaching the area to treat the wounded and evacuate the bodies of those killed.
Jabalya al-Balad has been subjected to ongoing military assaults by Israel for over three months.
On Tuesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza issued a statement updating casualty figures from Israeli military operations in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
The Ministry reported that more than 62,064 people have been killed consequently of these attacks to date.
The Palestinian health authority also stated that over 156,573 people have been wounded during this period.
In the past 24 hours alone, 60 bodies were transferred to hospitals and 343 individuals sustained injuries.
Since march 18, 2025-marking a new wave of assaults on Gaza-more than 10,518 have been reported killed and over 44,532 injured.
