North Korea: South Korea Will Never Be Our Diplomatic Partner

A ⁢high-ranking and powerful North Korean official declares⁤ that the country will‍ never consider‍ its southern neighbor‍ a diplomatic partner.

Kim Yo-jong, deputy director of the Central Committee of North Korea’s ruling party and sister to Supreme Leader Kim ⁢Jong-un, sharply‌ criticized South Korea‍ in her latest remarks. She asserted ⁤that Pyongyang will never regard Seoul as⁢ a partner for diplomacy.

As one of Kim Jong-un’s top foreign policy advisors, she⁤ condemned the ongoing joint ‌military exercises ‍between South korea‌ and‍ the United States. She called⁣ them “irresponsible” ‌and described them as⁢ preparations for⁣ a preemptive strike. She dismissed Seoul’s claims of pursuing peace as a “malicious intent” aimed at⁤ framing pyongyang for worsening inter-Korean⁤ relations.

the‌ North ‌Korean official emphasized ⁤that Lee Jae-myung is not someone who can change this historical trend of ⁤confrontational ambition. She added that ‌the South Korean‍ government continues to loudly⁢ feign commitment to peace and improving relations, while actually seeking to restore ties that are beyond repair.

Her comments were made during a meeting with officials from North Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding their leader’s diplomatic strategies, as reported ⁢by North Korea’s state news agency. She urged the ⁣ministry to take “appropriate retaliatory ⁢measures”‍ against South Korea, ‍which she labeled among “the most antagonistic enemies,” along with its allies.

Yesterday,Kim‍ Jong-un condemned⁤ the joint military drills conducted ⁤by South‍ Korea and the U.S. he also‌ reaffirmed his commitment to rapidly expanding North ⁢Korea’s⁤ nuclear forces ⁣during⁣ an inspection of ⁤an advanced warship being equipped with nuclear-capable missile systems.

The⁤ state ‌news agency further reported Kim⁢ Yo-jong calling South Korea “America’s top loyal dog” and emphasizing that Seoul’s ⁣desired restoration of inter-Korean relations “will never happen.”

This harsh rhetoric follows‍ recent ⁣statements⁢ from South Korean President ⁢Lee Jae-myung last week.Lee said Seoul seeks to revive their 2018 military ⁢agreement to reduce border‌ tensions and called on Pyongyang to engage in confidence-building measures and⁤ resume talks in pursuit⁣ of reciprocal actions.
