according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via al-Nashra, news sources reported multiple deaths and injuries following a car bomb explosion near a military base on a busy street in Cali, Colombia.
Colombian authorities stated that the detonation of an explosive-laden vehicle near the Military Aviation School in Cali, located in southwestern Colombia, killed five people and injured more than 30 others.
Police sources confirmed that the targeted site was the Marco Fidel Suarez Military Aviation School.
Cali’s mayor Alejandro Eder said initial reports indicate five fatalities and 36 injured individuals.
He also announced a ban on heavy vehicles entering the city due to fear of additional explosions.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet; however, authorities have classified it as an act of terrorism.
