The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to reports from international organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), regarding famine in Gaza by calling the WHO report false and consistent with Hamas’s narrative on developments in Gaza, according to webangah News Agency.
The ministry stated bluntly that “there is no famine in the Gaza Strip,” labeling WHO’s assessments as incorrect and declaring they will be discarded as worthless.
Today, the World Health Organization reported that famine and hunger have spread throughout the Gaza Strip. This marks the first time such conditions have been recorded in the Middle East region.
Doctors Without Borders also stated that israel has cut off access to water supplies for Gaza residents, describing this action as part of a genocidal campaign.
The United Nations Deputy Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs emphasized that famine in Gaza is a global disgrace and called on the world to take urgent action.
