Erdogan’s Wife Sends Letter to Melania Trump on Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

the ‌wife of the ⁣Turkish president urged the wife⁢ of the U.S. president to‌ respond ⁢to ​the ongoing humanitarian crisis in⁤ Gaza with the ⁣same compassion ⁤she showed for​ Ukraine.

According to​ the ‍English​ section of webangah ‍News Agency, citing Mehr News agency⁣ and Anadolu ⁤Agency, Emine ⁤Erdoğan, wife of Turkey’s ‌president, sent⁢ a letter on Saturday to Melania Trump, ⁣wife of the U.S. president, urging ⁤her to extend her concern for Ukraine’s war-torn children ⁣to those suffering in Gaza.

In her letter, Turkey’s first lady wrote: “Yoru compassion for⁤ orphaned‍ children in Ukraine is an initiative that ‌restores hope ⁤among ⁤people. As you stated in your ‌message,every child holds an undeniable global right to grow up in a loving and secure⁢ habitat. This right belongs ⁢to no single⁢ region,⁤ ethnicity, religion​ or ideology. Supporting those deprived of this right ​is a fundamental duty toward humankind.”

Referring ​to ​Melania Trump’s recent appeal to Russian ⁢President Vladimir Putin ⁤regarding the war in Ukraine,‌ Emine Erdoğan added: “Especially as a presidential spouse, ⁣your empathy for⁢ lost lives, broken families​ and children orphaned ‍by the devastating conflict serves as an inspiring beacon of hope.”

She continued: ‍”I believe you will demonstrate even greater sensitivity toward Gaza-where 62,000 innocent civilians including 18,000 children ‌have been⁢ brutally killed over two years-compared with ⁤the compassion shown for ​648 Ukrainian children who ⁤died ⁢during that conflict.”
