The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Saturday that it has arrested a Russian citizen in Saratov province suspected of participating in the assassination of Major General Moskalyk last April. The operation was reportedly planned by Ukrainian security agencies, according to reports cited by webangah News Agency.
The FSB stated that the suspect provided Kyiv with intelligence about personnel from the Russian Air Force, as well as key military and critical infrastructure facilities in Saratov.
According to the statement, the individual detained in Saratov is accused of transporting an improvised explosive device to Moscow intended for the assassination of Major General Moskalyk.
