Trump’s remarks about Israeli captives in Gaza spark outrage among their families.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, former U.S. President Donald Trump faced sharp criticism from the families of Israeli captives in Gaza after his comments on Friday.
Trump claimed in a speech that fewer than 20 captives remain alive in Gaza. He asserted that previous releases of Israeli prisoners were secured through his efforts, and accused Hamas of now refusing to negotiate.
He stated, “They currently hold 20 people, but those 20 may not actually be 20 because some might no longer be alive. That is a terrible situation.”
