the Europe-Mediterranean Human Rights Watch announced Monday that the Israeli regime has effectively launched its plan to completely destroy Gaza city and impose its illegal military control over the area, according to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today.
the statement highlighted that the Israeli army is conducting extensive destruction of residential areas from the south, east, and north of Gaza City in a coordinated attack. This comprehensive demolition advances systematically toward the city’s center along three fronts.
This ground military offensive follows Israel’s official commencement of “Operation Gideon 2” on August 20, including preliminary operations and initial phases.
The human rights organization noted that today more than one million people are confined to less than 30% of Gaza City’s territory. All are at risk of forced displacement southward under this plan, which aims at erasing Gaza through systematic destruction and total military domination.
On Sunday, Gaza’s Ministry of Interior warned against Israeli efforts to forcibly relocate residents from Gaza City and northern Gaza Strip.it urged civilians and displaced persons not to yield to intimidation or extortion by the Israeli regime and called on them to remain in their homes.
