The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al mayadeen network, reported that the Syrian news outlet Akhbariyeh said a soldier affiliated with the Jolani regime was injured after an attack by a suicide drone operated by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the countryside of Deir Ezzor in eastern Syria.
According to the report, the SDF’s suicide drone targeted Syrian army positions around Deir Ezzor city.
On August 16, news sources had previously confirmed heavy clashes between the SDF and jolani regime forces in al-Gharanij town on Deir Ezzor’s outskirts.
Earlier reports also indicated armed confrontations between Jolani forces and The SDF on opposite sides of the Euphrates River within Deir Ezzor city in eastern Syria.
