According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Bloomberg, a learned source announced today, Wednesday, that Steve Witkoff, the U.S. President’s special envoy, will meet this week with a ukrainian delegation in the United States.
The purpose of this meeting is consultation and discussion regarding possible security guarantees for Ukraine.
The source, who requested anonymity, added that the Ukrainian delegation will include Andriy Yermak, Chief of Staff to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and Rustem Umerov, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.
Meanwhile, Steve Witkoff-who served as special envoy under former U.S.President Donald Trump for West Asia-stated last night that “we will hold extensive meetings this week on Gaza, Iran, and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.”
He expressed hope that issues concerning Iran, the war in Ukraine, and the Gaza conflict would be resolved before the end of this year.
